Niton village has a variety of local shops including convenience store, post office with tea rooms, butchers, chemist and book shop/general store, all within easy walking distance. The White Lion is a traditional English pub and offers a large selection of homemade dishes.
This holiday home provides an ideal base for those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside on foot. Close by is St. Catherine's lighthouse, Niton Undercliffe which is officially recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Buddle Inn has splendid views overlooking the sea. Opposite are steps leading to Castle Cove with its history of smugglers and ghosts. For those with children, Blackgang Chine Theme Park is well worth a visit. The Victorian resort town of Ventnor is a short drive away with its crescent shaped beach and variety of cafes and restaurants.
