Stroll along the embankment to St Helens where the nature reserve with marshes and dunes offer delightful opportunities for birdwatchers and walkers and visit the busy little harbour where you can buy the catch of the day. At nearby Culver Down are many country and coastal walks/cycle paths with unsurpassed views over downland and the English Channel.
To the rear of the property you can relax in a lovely enclosed garden with comfortable outdoor lounge style seating, Charcoal BBQ, table and chairs, great for ‘alfresco’ dining under the leafy pergola. Open a bottle of wine from the wine rack (all we ask is that you replace the bottle for the next guest). Children can enjoy a range of garden & beach toys.
In Bembridge village, within only a few minutes walk you’ll find local independent shops, a bakers, butchers, farm shop, a small co-op, good take-away’s such as a chinese/chip shop, restaurants, pubs and bars. ‘Shed’ offers a range of tapas and food with a Mediterranean theme, freshly cooked and locally sourced.
The resort towns of Sandown and Ryde are just a short drive with sandy beaches and seaside attractions for children.
