The safe sparkling waters of Shanklin beach are just a short walk away and within 3 minute walking distance of the popular holiday town of Shanklin, here there are a variety of shops, supermarket, banks and eating places. To the south of the High Street lies the picturesque thatched Old Village with its pubs, tearooms and gift shops. Near to the Old Village is Shanklin Chine, a natural wooded gorge, and Rylstone Gardens, a relaxing park with crazy golf and tea gardens in a flower filled setting.
Shanklin also has a train station, enabling you to leave your car behind and travel to Sandown and the holiday resort of Ryde with its white sandy beaches and attractions.

The long safe sandy beach of Shanklin is on a lower level, just a two minute walk to the cliff path from Casa Nostra. Coastal paths make for scenic walking to neighbouring Sandown or in the other direction the pretty village of Bonchurch through the winding paths of the landslip.

The Island has many other attractions for families with a variety of beaches, wonderful scenery, cycleways and footpaths, leisure centres and golf courses. Entertainment and eating places are varied.
